Everyone turned in their homework on time and
completed. Thank you for taking time to
initial the boxes. All of the children
got to “clip-up” on our Responsibility Chart for being PROACTIVE!
We have been learning how to work together and cooperate as a team in our class. Every time I catch the class synergizing they earn a tally mark towards a class goal. Our first goal was to get 50 tally marks to earn extra recess time and we did it! Make sure you congratulate your child!
(in more ways than
one)
WE THINK
WE MAKE GOOD CHOICES
WE ARE PATIENT WITH OURSELVES & OTHERS
WE COOPERATE ~ Together is Better!
Talk
to your child at home and ask them about our rules. Point out times at home when they are doing
them.
We
are also working on the math attribute of sorting. We are learning to sort objects that are identical, similar, or different into
sets. We are also working on the numbers 1-5.
In
language arts we are working on spelling our first name. If your child can do this then they are
working on their last name. If they can
spell their first and last name then they are working on memorizing and writing
their phone number. We are also learning
about the difference between a letter and a word.
