Last week we learned all about what eagles eat. We wrote about it on our next page in our Eagle Book and drew an eagle with its
prey. Our books are really coming
together! This week we will talk about
where they live and baby eaglets.
Thank you for sending your family photo to school. It has been so fun listening to the children
identify and share (in Spanish) who the members are in their family. If your child has not sent me a photo
(electronically) or brought one to class it’s not too late. Send it this week.
HOMEWORK this week is all
about getting
prepared to
celebrate 100 DAYS of
KINDERGARTEN!
Please
read it carefully. Your child’s job is
to put together a collection of 100 of the same item and put it in the bag
(provided) and bring to school along with 3 clues about their collection. Examples are: 100 Legos, 100 pieces of
ribbon, 100 pennies, 100 Cheerios. Then
write 3 clues about your item. For
example if your child brought 100 rubber bands they could say –
They are rubber.
They stretch.
You use them to hold things together.
You may help your child spell words but, please
have them do ALL of the writing.
