LOVE YOUR LIBRARY CONTEST

Our Eagle Books & I Like Books are finished and ready to submit to the Love Your Library Contest this week!!!  I am so proud of the hard work the students have put into their books and can’t wait for you to see them!  You will get to see a “sneak-peek” of the Eagle Book when you come to Parent Teacher Conference.

We are learning about living and nonliving things.  We compared a rock to a meal worm.  We discovered that if it’s a thing is living it can:

Eat food and drink water
Breathe air
Move on its own
Reproduce
Grow and change

We are going to watch the meal worms over the next 2 weeks to see how they grow and change.  Do you know what will happen?

Field Trip Permission SlipPlease sign the white permission slip and return it to school.  ALL children need to have a signed permission slip to attend the Field Trip on Tuesday, February 20th to the Children’s Treehouse Museum.

Valentine’s Day Cards – Make sure you read the Homework Bookmark instructions carefully.  Your child will need to sign each card with -
From, (their name)

This is the only assignment for the week (besides Raz Kids J).  Please avoid the urge to help your child by doing the writing for him/her.  This is a good opportunity for the children to practice the snap-word from.
